Kapil found hanging mother accuses daughterinlaw police investigating all angles
Karnal, July 8: The body of 34-year-old Kapil, a resident of the Kachhwa Bridge area, was found hanging in his home. Kapil worked in the scrap trade and was a father of two. Upon receiving the information, the Ramnagar police and an FSL team arrived at the scene; after collecting evidence, they sent the body to Kalpana Chawla Medical College for a post-mortem examination.
His wife, Noori, stated that they had a love marriage about 12 years ago and had been living separately from his parents for the past eight years. According to her, Kapil suffered from a respiratory ailment and was under mental stress due to family debt. She mentioned that she had gone to the market to buy school supplies for the children and found her husband hanging upon her return.
Meanwhile, the deceased's mother, Pooja, has accused her daughter-in-law of murdering her son. She alleges that the daughter-in-law frequently quarreled with Kapil, neglected his care, and subjected him to mental harassment. She has demanded an impartial investigation into the matter.
Mahavir, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Ramnagar, stated that all aspects of the case—including the possibility of suicide and the allegations made—are currently being investigated. The actual cause of death will become clear only after the post-mortem report and the completion of the investigation.
