Punjab Government Organizes Spectacular Drone Show at SGGS Khalsa College Mahilpur

Hoshiarpur, September 14:- As part of the series of celebrations marking the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, a spectacular drone show organized on Sunday illuminated the sky and presented an impressive portrayal of Guru Ji’s life and teachings. The show was organized at the local S.G.G.S. Khalsa College, Mahilpur, where saints and revered personalities, along with a large number of devotees and local residents, watched the show after listening to Kirtan.
The show beautifully portrayed the life, philosophy and vision of Begampura, along with the eternal messages of equality, compassion, social justice, human dignity and mutual respect, through 500 drones.
During the drone show, Sant Pradeep Kumar Kathar, Sant Satnam Das Gajjan Mahidood, Sant Keval Singh Tap Asthan Khuralgarh Sahib, Sant Harmesh Das Sherpur Dhakkon, Sant Major Das Halluwal, Sant Surinder Singh Charan Chhoh Ganga Khuralgarh Sahib, Mata Gurinder Kaur Bahowal, Sant Balbir Das Sahri, Sant Satnam Das Khuralgarh, Baba Naresh Singh, Baba Sukhdev Singh and others also specially attended the event.
During the show, the people gathered there watched the spectacular presentation with folded hands and devotion, while the devotees appreciated this unique initiative. They described the drone show as a memorable and unique way of conveying the great teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji to the people, especially the younger generation, through modern technology.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar said that the drone show was an appropriate tribute by the Punjab Government to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. He said the large participation of people reflected their deep devotion to Guru Ji. He said such initiatives provide an effective platform to acquaint the younger generation with the ideology of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. He said the spectacular presentation not only showcased Guru Ji’s message in an unparalleled manner but also highlighted the importance of creating a society based on equality, brotherhood, compassion and social justice.
The MLA said that under the series of celebrations marking the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, 92 drone shows are being organized across the state by the Punjab Government. Expressing gratitude to the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for organizing drone shows depicting the life and teachings of Guru Ji, Dr. Ishank Kumar said that besides drone shows, seminars, screenings of documentary films, marathons and other programmes are also being organized across the state for the promotion and propagation of the teachings and ideology of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
Dr. Ishank Kumar also said that the Punjab Government has allocated a budget of Rs. 100 crore for programmes and initiatives dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purab. He said that documentary shows are also being organized through special vans in 13,000 villages across Punjab to take the teachings of Guru Ji to the grassroots level. He further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government recently laid the foundation stone of the ‘Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Bani Adhyayan Kendra’, and the entire project is estimated to cost Rs. 24.55 crore. He said that the ‘Guru Ravidas Memorial’ is also being established at Khuralgarh at a cost of Rs. 147 crore.
Charanjit Singh Channi, OSD to Punjab Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri, also addressed the congregation.
During the ceremony, renowned Ragi Bhai Jasvir Singh Ji enthralled the congregation with Shabad Kirtan.
