Public release of Principal Bahadar Singh Gosals English book The Wisdom Nest

Chandigarh:- Vishva Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh in collaboration with Sangeeta Sahitya Sangam organized the public release of the English translation 'The Wisdom Nest' of Principal Bahadar Singh Gosal's popular children's book 'Deepi Guthli Wala' at the residence of Dr. Sangeeta Sharma Kundra in Sector 38 C, Chandigarh. This book has been translated into English by Dr. Sangeeta Sharma Kundra.
The event was presided over by renowned English litterateur Sams Tabrezi, while Shri Prem Vij participated as the chief guest. The presidium included Principal Bahadar Singh Gosal, Dr. Sangeeta Kundra and renowned journalist Dr. Vinod Sharma.
Welcoming the guests, Dr. Kundra gave information about the importance of the book. Principal Gosal, while telling about the importance of the book for children, thanked Dr. Kundra and Shri Prem Vij for taking it to other languages. He said that in Chandigarh there is demand for his Punjabi children's books in English and Hindi as well.
After the release, Dr. Vinod Sharma, while reading a detailed paper on the book, described its stories as interesting and lovable for children. Shri Prem Vij, Sams Tabrezi, Dr. Kundra and Sarabjit Singh took part in the discussion on the book.
The Kavi Darbar held on this occasion was started by Jagtar Singh Jog by singing Principal Gosal's songs 'Patte, Patte, Patte, Veerna' and 'Agniveer Nu Rakhi', which were highly appreciated by the litterateurs. In the Kavi Darbar, Babu Ram Deewana, Dhyan Singh Kahlon, Sarabjit Singh Padda, Principal Bahadar Singh Gosal, Dr. Kundra, Prem Vij, Sams Tabrezi, Balwinder Singh, Dr. Vinod Sharma, Jagtar Singh Jog, Rajesh Sharma and child Kimaya presented their compositions.
In the end, Vishva Punjabi Prachar Sabha honoured Dr. Kundra, Prem Vij, Dr. Vinod Sharma, Sams Tabrezi and other litterateurs with shawls, gold medals and books. Sangeeta Sahitya Sangam honoured Principal Bahadar Singh Gosal for writing 125 books. The stage was conducted by Dr. Kundra and in the end Ashwani Kumar Kundra thanked.
