NEET exam again disrupted Technical glitches reported at two Jaipur centres

New Delhi:- NEET-PG (2026) exam was conducted for more than 2.63 lakh candidates across the country today; however, the exam could not be completed at two centres in Jaipur due to internal power outage. According to a notice issued by the National Board for Medical Sciences Examinations, the exam has been rescheduled for 3 pm on September 5 for the affected candidates in Jaipur. According to the details, the candidates alleged that the computers were repeatedly shutting down during the exam at the centre located in Sitapura, Jaipur. According to the candidates, the exam was supposed to start at 9 am but it was delayed. Amidst the technical glitches, many candidates came out of the exam centre and protested against the arrangements. They alleged that no clear information was given by the centre staff about the repeated technical problems. They also raised questions about the fairness of the exam. The candidates demanded an inquiry into the matter and to ensure that no student is made to suffer. Following the uproar over the glitch, the board called an urgent meeting to decide on action against the technical partner and the agency responsible for ensuring proper infrastructure at the examination centres.
Earlier, the Health Ministry said that the examination of 2,445 candidates could not be completed due to technical glitches at two ION Digital Zone centres in Sitapura and Jaipur, the conducting agency and the technical partner TCS Limited. Other details including the venue for the re-examination and revised admit cards will be shared separately. The ministry said that the NEET-PG examination was held for 2,73,096 candidates at 1,111 examination centres in 339 cities across all 36 states and union territories. A total of 2,65,980 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which about 2,63,535 candidates successfully completed the exam.
