Indian economy grows faster than RBI estimates
New Delhi: Inflation is rising due to tensions in West Asia. Despite this, the Indian economy has strengthened much more than the Reserve Bank's estimate. According to government data, the country's GDP growth rate during the first quarter of this year from April to June was 7.8 percent, while RBI had estimated it to be 7 percent. This growth rate was 6.9 percent in the same quarter last year.
Sectors like finance, real estate, IT and professional services have seen a growth of more than 12 percent. Due to this growth, inflation has not affected the country's GDP. These figures have been released by the central government today.
