National Lok Adalat Benches Settle 30083 Cases
Ambala, September 12:- The National Lok Adalat was organised as per the directions of the Haryana State Legal Services Authority, Panchkula. Chief Judicial Magistrate and District Legal Services Authority, Ambala, Smt. Geetanjali, said that as part of this initiative, a total of eight benches were constituted today under the National Lok Adalat in the courts of Hitesh Garg, Additional District and Sessions Judge; Shri Amit Garg, Additional District and Sessions Judge; Manjit Pal, Additional District and Sessions Judge and Principal Judge, Family Court; Civil Judge Sachin Kumar; Civil Judge, Railway Court, Smt. Chinar Bagla; Civil Judge Smt. Roshni; Civil Judge Anurag Yadav; Civil Judge, Ambala, and Chetesh Gupta, Civil Judge, Naraingarh, at the District Court Ambala and Sub-Division Naraingarh. A total of 55,625 cases were registered in this Lok Adalat, including 221 matrimonial and family matters, 2,057 criminal cases, 724 civil cases and 783 bank recovery cases, 1,740 cases under the NIA Act, among others. Out of these, 30,083 cases were disposed of and a total amount of Rs 73,800,746/- was paid.
