Books Have Not Lost Their Importance Dr Premchand Dwitiya

Indore, September 12:- Humans share a deep bond with books. Although the importance of books in their physical form has certainly declined in the digital era, books have not lost their importance. Satire and poetry are certainly different literary genres, but both contain an observation of life. This was stated by renowned satirist Dr Premchand Dwitiya at a book discussion and poetry symposium. At the beginning of the programme, Dr Premchand Dwitiya was welcomed by poet, writer and critic Sanjay M Taranekar.
The programme was organised by the all-India organisation Vidyottama in memory of the late poet Kalyan Singh Kesar. Senior litterateur Dr Akhilesh Rao presided over the programme, while renowned satirist Premchand Dwitiya attended as the chief guest and senior litterateur and advocate Praveen Chaudhary was present as the Saraswat guest. They, along with Gopal Singh Rajput, discussed the late poet and the book. They became emotional while participating in the discussion. An important and insightful lecture was delivered on his personality and literary contributions. The event was organised by Dinesh Tiwari, president of the Indore unit. The innovative programme began with Saraswati Vandana by Dr Shashi Nigam. The programme was efficiently coordinated by Kalyani Gupta.
Senior litterateurs Sandhya Baiwar, Dr Indu Jain, Suresh Maheshwari Shivam, Harish Hans, Sanjay M Taranekar, Dr Archana Trivedi, Sheela Chandan, Swati Singh and Tejkaran Dubey presented poetry during the programme. This information was provided by Harihar Singh Chauhan.
