Important Meeting of Punjab Subordinate Services Federation Mahilpur Held

Hoshiarpur: An important meeting was held in Mahilpur, led by Narinder Ajnoha (Block President, PASSF), to ensure the success of the Joint Front of Employees and Pensioners' rallies—scheduled for July 11 in Hoshiarpur and July 17 in Chandigarh. Addressing the meeting, Narinder Ajnoha, Makhan Singh Langeri, Amarjit Kumar (Nangal Khilarian), Paramjit Katib, and Malkit Singh Bahowal stated that a decision has been taken to press the Punjab government for action on several legitimate demands. These include restoring the Old Pension Scheme, regularizing all contractual and honorarium-based employees, applying a 2.59 multiplication factor for pensioners, releasing arrears for the Pay Commission and Dearness Allowance (DA), restoring the 37 withdrawn allowances and the Assured Career Progression (ACP) scheme, and rejecting the Central Pay Commission's recommendations.
The leaders highlighted that Punjab's employees and pensioners are currently facing a 25% reduction in their salaries and pensions. They appealed to employees and pensioners to participate enthusiastically in the aforementioned protest actions.
