Fire and Emergency Services to get new impetus Revenue Minister Vipul Goyal

Chandigarh, July 7:- A meeting of the Departmental High Power Purchase Committee was held today under the chairmanship of Haryana Revenue, Disaster Management and Local Body Disposal Minister Mr. Vipul Goyal. Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda and Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Sumita Mishra were also present in the meeting.
The meeting approved the purchase of 26 new vehicles with the aim of further strengthening the state's fire and emergency services. These vehicles will be deployed in different districts, so that faster and more effective services can be provided to the citizens in case of fire and other emergency situations.
It was informed in the meeting that the vehicles to be purchased include utility vehicles, recovery vans and command and control vehicles. The cost of their purchase will be Rs. 2 crore 91 lakh 71 thousand and it will be ensured that they are made available to the department within two months.
Director General Fire Services Mr. Shekhar Vidyarthi, Special Secretary of the Finance Department Captain Manoj Kumar and senior officers of the Supply and Disposal Department were also present in the meeting.
