Bhagwant Mann lashes out at BJP for increasing pollution in Delhi BJP reveals reason for increasing pollution in Delhi Bhagwant Mann
Chandigarh:- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today has lashed out at the ruling BJP government in Delhi for the increasing pollution levels in Delhi. He said that the ruling BJP government in Delhi always holds Punjab responsible for the pollution in Delhi, whereas currently the air quality level (AQI) in Punjab is between 70 and 110.
On the other hand, the air quality level (AQI) in Delhi is still between 450 and 500. He said that the BJP always says that the smoke from Punjab is going to Delhi, but now the smoke from Punjab is not going to Delhi and neither is any stubble burning being done in Punjab. Despite this, the air pollution in Delhi is very high. He said that if the wind blows from north to south at a speed of 50 km, the smoke can reach Delhi, but most of the wind blows from west to east.
Therefore, the smoke from Punjab can never reach Delhi. He said that this time the incidents of stubble burning have come to light in Punjab compared to the previous ones. Therefore, Punjab is not responsible for the pollution in Delhi.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann told the farmers who announced to protest in Punjab that the demands of the farmers are related to the central government. Therefore, there is no need to disturb the people by staging protests in Punjab. He said that they can talk to the state government for the demands related to Punjab, but the people of Punjab will not be allowed to be disturbed for the demands of the center.
