ADC cancels the license of firm Urban Migration
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 08, 2026:- Exercising the powers vested under the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Mrs. Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of the firm 'Urban Migration'.
The Additional District Magistrate stated that the license (No. 800/IC, dated 05.08.2025, valid until 04.08.2030) for consultancy work was issued to Baljinder Kaur, owner of the firm 'Urban Migration', located at SCF No. 49, 2nd Floor, Phase-11, Sector-65, Mohali, a resident of Mandi Gobindgarh, District Fatehgarh Sahib.
The Additional District Magistrate explained that Mrs. Baljinder Kaur had submitted an application to the office to surrender her license, expressing her desire to close the business due to personal and domestic reasons.
In this regard, as per the rules, an investigation was conducted through the Senior Superintendent of Police, S.A.S. Nagar. Additionally, the required public notices were published in Punjabi and English newspapers. The police investigation report found no objections regarding the surrender of the license. Furthermore, according to office records, no complaints have been received against the firm.
The Additional District Magistrate stated that in view of the above facts, under the provisions of Section 8 (1) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act, 2012, the license issued to the firm 'Urban Migration' (No. 800/IC, dated 05.08.2025) has been cancelled with immediate effect.
Furthermore, as per the Act/rules, if any complaint is received against the aforementioned applicant/firm/owner in the future, they will be held responsible for making amends in all respects.
