Accused arrested with illegal weapons sent on twoday remand

Ambala, July 8:- Acting under the able leadership of District SP Ajit Singh Shekhawat, the CIA Naraingarh team, displaying alertness, arrested an accused along with his car and recovered a large number of illegal country-made pistols and five live cartridges from his possession.
The team had received information through its intelligence network that a youth was planning to execute a major crime using a large quantity of illegal weapons. Acting swiftly on the information, the team laid a siege near Budio village under the jurisdiction of Mulana police station, seized the suspicious car, and arrested the accused. The arrested accused has been identified as Sharanjit Singh alias Sunny, a resident of village Tandwali (Barara). The police have also recovered the car used in the crime. 
A case has been registered at the Mulana police station under relevant sections of the Arms Act, and the accused Sharanjit Singh alias Sunny has been presented before the honorable court and taken on a two-day police remand. During the remand, the police will investigate the accused's hideouts and identify other criminals involved in this network.
