Hoshiarpur - Punjab Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy has written to Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia requesting to name Adampur Airport in Jalandhar district of Punjab after Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji.
In a letter written to the Union Aviation Minister, the Deputy Speaker has requested that the Adampur airport is going to be inaugurated in the next few days while drawing attention to the very important issue of the state. Therefore, they propose that Amadpur Airport Jalandhar should be named after the great revolutionary leader Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. Who had a profound impact on the lives of the entire humanity and taught the world compassion, equality and mutual brotherhood.
Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy said that this initiative of yours will not only recognize his valuable contribution to the society. Rather, it will also remind the teachings and values given by them. He said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan ji is committed to building a society based on the teachings and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj ji. Therefore, you are strongly requested to name Adampur, Jalandhar Airport after Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
