
Brahma Kumaris's Mohali Centre Extends Helping Hand to Flood-Affected Families
SAS Nagar, September 11: In a noble gesture of service and compassion, the Brahma Kumaris' Mohali–Ropar Circle, under the guidance of Brahma Kumari Premlata, Incharge Rajyoga Centres, Mohali -Ropar, today handed over two small vehicles of essential relief material to Assistant Commissioner (G) Dr Ankita Kansal for distribution among flood-affected families.
SAS Nagar, September 11: In a noble gesture of service and compassion, the Brahma Kumaris' Mohali–Ropar Circle, under the guidance of Brahma Kumari Premlata, Incharge Rajyoga Centres, Mohali -Ropar, today handed over two small vehicles of essential relief material to Assistant Commissioner (G) Dr Ankita Kansal for distribution among flood-affected families.
The relief consignment, carefully prepared by the Brahma Kumaris, includes blankets, dari, bedsheets, clothes (for men and women), shoes and chappals. To meet food and ration needs, the donation also comprises atta, rice, pulses, sugar, salt, jaggery, spices, biscuits, rusk, and namkeen.
Along with food and clothing, the consignment also contains daily household utilities such as casserole sets, candles, matchboxes, mustard oil, and agarbatti, as well as hygiene and health items like soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mosquito repellents, sanitary pads, and mosquito killers.
Speaking on the occasion, Brahma Kumari Premlata said that serving humanity in times of distress is the true expression of spirituality and Rajyoga values. She assured that the Brahma Kumaris will continue to extend all possible assistance to the affected people.
Deputy Commissioner Ms. Komal Mittal while acknowledging the generous contribution of the Brahma Kumaris, said that such collective efforts from social and spiritual organizations play a vital role in supporting the state and administration’s relief and rehabilitation drive
