Una, July 15:- A special plantation program was organized at Non-Residential Special Training Center (NRSTC) Ghaluwal on Tuesday. Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal participated as the chief guest in this program organized by the courtesy of Education Reform Committee Isapur. Deputy Commissioner gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings on this occasion and called upon the people to plant more and more trees.

Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal participated as the chief guest in this program organized by the courtesy of Education Reform Committee Isapur. Deputy Commissioner gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings on this occasion and called upon the people to plant more and more trees.
The Deputy Commissioner said that only planting saplings is not enough, but their regular care and protection is equally important. He emphasized that every section of the society will have to come forward to maintain environmental balance.
He informed that a plantation campaign is being run in 11 NRSTC centers operating in Una district, under which about 70 saplings are being planted. The aim of this initiative is to develop sensitivity towards nature and a sense of conservation in children.
Had a cordial conversation with the children-
After the program, the Deputy Commissioner had a cordial conversation with the children of NRSTC Center. He sat with the children on the ground and talked to them about their dreams and interests in life. Some expressed their desire to become doctors, while some expressed their desire to become engineers. The Deputy Commissioner encouraged all the children and inspired them to study diligently, work hard and move forward with discipline.
Children's poems captivated the mind-
During the program, students studying in NRSTC, Sudha and Ruby presented beautiful poems based on environmental protection, which were appreciated by the people present.
On this occasion, senior Congress leader Ranjit Rana, Pradhan Ghaluwal Sona Devi, Pramod Bittu, District Planning Officer Sanjay Sankhyan, BDO Haroli Rajeshwar Bhatia, Rajneesh Sharma, Zeenat Mahant, Education Reform Committee General Secretary Suchha Singh Kang and all the members of the committee were present.
