Nawanshahr- The entire star cast of the newly released Punjabi film “Meri Pyari Dadi” reached the school at Shiv Chand Public High School, Skohpur, which created a lot of excitement among the students. The film was released on 11 July 2025 and has become the center of much discussion among the people due to its social message.

On this special occasion, the chief guest was Honorable Mr. Sukhi Bath, who is the founder of “Punjab Bhawan” located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. He is a successful businessman, with about 450 employees working in his company. Sukhi Bath Ji is not only a businessman, but also a great social worker. He has also arranged the marriages of about 400 poor girls in India in his service.
He is not only helping poor children in India but also in Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and many other countries in their education. So far, 60 books have been published under the “New Pens – New Flight” project he started.
He conducted a half-hour motivational workshop for school students, in which he explained in detail the importance of wisdom, discipline and hard work to the students for success in the future. He also announced during this that he will also donate 200 books to the library of Shiv Chand Public High School, so that more quality study material is available to the students.
This is a sign of his true dedication towards education and social welfare.

The star cast of the film included the director and writer of the film, Mr. Taj, prominent child actor Master Fatehvir who is also his son, Padma Shri Mrs. Nirmal Rishi Ji, Mrs. Manpreet Mani Ji (who played the role of Fatehvir's mother), Mrs. Vishu Khetia Ji (Fatehvir's aunt) and Mr. Baljit Bawa Ji who played the role of Fatehvir's uncle.
All the guests were warmly welcomed on arrival at the school. The Director and Trustee of the school, Mr. Ashok Mahera Ji and Principal, Mr. Sandeep Chawla Ji honored the star cast of the film and the guests by giving them garlands and certificates of appreciation.
The star cast spoke to the students of the school, shared their life experiences with them and inspired them on how one can move forward in life by struggling. The students also enthusiastically asked them questions and shared their feelings.
Finally, all the senior teachers, staff members and students of the school were present. This event not only became a memorable day, but also left a deep impression on the minds of the students.
