Garhshankar, July 12- A joint delegation of various organizations working in the area, Adarsh Social Welfare Society Regd., Democratic Teachers Front Punjab, Jeevan Jagriti Manch Regd., Doaba Sahitya Sabha and Kirti Kisan Union jointly met SDM Madam Oshi Mandal regarding the serious problem of the area.
Giving information in this regard, Adarsh Welfare Society President Satish Kumar Soni and teacher leader Mukesh Kumar said that in the last one and a half to two months, many accidents have happened on the road from Garhshankar to Adampur along the canal due to lack of rain. There has been a lot of loss of life and property in these accidents and similarly, deep potholes have formed on the road near the sea on the road from Garhshankar to Balachaur.
Madam SDM listened to both these problems seriously and assured to solve this problem as soon as possible by personally meeting the XEN. At this time, Principal Bikkar Singh, Santokh Singh, Surjit Singh, Mandeep Kumar, Kamaldev, Sukhdev Dancewal, Dr. Lakhwinder Lucky, Preet Parowalia, Amarjit Singh Bangar, Hansraj Gadhshankar etc. were present in the delegation.
