Una, June 20- Free skill courses are being conducted for registered workers and their dependents through Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
These include courses like Production Machine Operator-Sterile Formulation Granulation, Packing Tablets and Capsules, Manufacturing and Packaging Assistant- Pharma, Biologics and Medical Devices, Medical Sales Representative, Associate-Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property.

Eligibility for training
District Labour Welfare Officer Aman Sharma said that to avail these courses, the age of the candidate should be 18 years along with educational qualification in 10th, 12th, graduation and B.Tech final year (in the relevant field) or B.Pharma final year or M.Sc. (related subject).
Along with this, workers registered with Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Una or their dependents who are willing to take salary and self-employment provided by the Staff Selection Committee on completion of training will be enrolled. The enrolled candidates should have the qualification prescribed by the Sector Skill Council as per the respective job role.
Also, before enrollment, it will be mandatory for the trainee to give his willingness for salary/self-employment as well as details of contact points/parents and their consent in writing. He informed that the candidates will be guided for career along with at least minimum salary as per the state norms in the form of a letter of intent.
