Donate blood while alive and donate eyes after death-Hardev Singh Asi

Hoshiarpur- District Public Relations Officer Hoshiarpur Hardev Singh Asi and Tanda Incharge of Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur, State Awardee Bhai Barinder Singh Masiti said during a special meeting that every person should donate blood while alive and donate eyes after death.

Bhai Barinder Singh Masiti said that the eyes of a deceased person can be donated within 4 to 6 hours of death. He said that two blind people can get new light with the donated eyes. He said that the Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur has been continuously running an awareness campaign since the year 2000 to make people aware about blood donation while alive and eye donation after death.
Bhai Masiti said that at present the Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur is being run very well by the team of District President Manmohan Singh, Secretary Baljit Singh and Chairman Bahadur Singh Sunet. He said that the organization has given light to many blind people by getting them operated by specialists free of cost.
On this occasion, DPRO Hardev Singh Aasi appreciated this initiative of the Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur. Assistant Public Relations Officer Lokesh Chaubey and Rajnish Kumar Guliani were also present on this occasion.
