Garhshankar, 9 April: In the series of inaugurations of development works done in various schools of Punjab under Punjab Shiksha Kranti, the constituency MLA and Deputy Speaker Shri Jai Krishna Singh Rori inaugurated the modern lab constructed at a cost of Rs. 11 lakh in Government High Smart School, Dagham, Block Garhshankar-2.
Garhshankar, 9 April: In the series of inaugurations of development works done in various schools of Punjab under Punjab Shiksha Kranti, the constituency MLA and Deputy Speaker Shri Jai Krishna Singh Rori inaugurated the modern lab constructed at a cost of Rs. 11 lakh in Government High Smart School, Dagham, Block Garhshankar-2.
On this occasion, Deputy Speaker Shri Jai Krishna Singh Rori, who arrived as the chief guest in the function organized in the school, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the works done by the Punjab Government for the development of education and said that the Bhagwant Mann Government of Punjab under the leadership of Honorable Arvind Kejriwal has changed the compulsion of the people into their wish and now the inclination of the people has increased towards government schools. He said that a day will come when people will recommend admission of their children in government schools.
On reaching the school, School Incharge Hardeep Kumar welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries and parents. While addressing, he highlighted the facilities being provided by the government in the school and appealed to the parents to get as many children as possible enrolled in this school. On this occasion, a cultural programme was also presented by the children.
During the function, the annual magazine "Sahitya Parv" prepared by the school was released by the chief guest Jai Krishna Singh Raudi and the students securing first three positions in class VIII were honoured. The stage was conducted by Madam Jyoti Sharma. In the end, Sarpanch Balveer Singh Jassi expressed his gratitude.
On this occasion, school in-charge Hardeep Kumar, Sarpanch Balbir Singh Jassi Dagham, Sukhwinder Pal, Jaswinder Singh Panch, Parminder Kaur Panch, Amarjit Singh Longia Panch, Dharampal former Panch, Lehbar Singh, Resham Singh Sarpanch Monowal, Balwinder Singh Sarpanch Moila, Sukhwinder Singh Sarpanch Fatehpur Kalan, Surinder Shindi Sarpanch Birampur, Monu Sarpanch Souli, Panchayat member Chauhra, Dharampal Kanungo, Sukhwinder Singh Dagham, Master Jarnail Singh, school staff members Madam Jyotika Ladhar, Varinder Kaur, Madam Anshu Rana, Jatinder Kumar, Harkamalpreet Singh, Jyoti Sharma etc. along with a large number of dignitaries and parents were present.
