Hoshiarpur- District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Hoshiarpur, Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur informed that today on 07.04.2025, an online webinar was organised by District Employment and Business Bureau/Model Career Centre Hoshiarpur regarding Agniveer recruitment.
While inaugurating this webinar, Colonel Shri Vipulav from Jalandhar Cantt informed the students of all the schools connected in the webinar about the Agniveer scheme and informed that after completing their studies, the candidates can join the Indian Army as "Agniveer" under the "Agneepath" scheme. He also informed that candidates born between 17 and a half years to 21 years can apply for these various posts.
Apart from this, in this webinar, Brigadier Shri Vijay Bhaskar, associated with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute Mohali, while telling about his institute, said that after studying from this institute, candidates can make their career as an officer in the army.
Apart from this, Career Counselor Mr. Vishal Chawla from District Employment Office gave complete information about other institutes run by Employment Department Punjab like Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute for Girls, Mohali and C-Pite Institute.
