Nawanshahr, March 29- The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination and Punjab State Research Examination for the session 2024-25 was conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training Punjab on February 2, 2025. This examination was conducted in the state of Punjab under the able guidance of Amninder Kaur, Director SCERT Punjab.
This examination was conducted under the guidance of Assistant Director Seema Khera across the state, the result of which was declared today. Ashok Kumar, State Nodal Officer of this examination, said that 47,534 students had registered for this examination in the state of Punjab.
A total of 155 examination centers were set up for this examination across the state of Punjab. A total of 42,554 students appeared in this examination. Out of which 2210 students allotted to Punjab by the Ministry of Education have been selected on the basis of merit. The students who came in the merit will be given a total of Rs 48 thousand, Rs 12 thousand per year for four years.
Apart from the above, State Coordinator of SCERT Mrs. Gurveer Kaur was also present on the occasion of declaration of results. Madam Gurveer Kaur told the parents and teachers of the students who got merit that they must apply for scholarship for these students when the NSP portal opens.
