YouTuber Jasbir Singh sent to 2-day police remand

SAS Nagar, June 7 – YouTuber Jasbir Singh (Jaan Mahal), a resident of village Mahila in Ropar district, was produced in Mohali court today by the State Special Operations Cell after his 3-day police remand expired. On this occasion, the State Special Operations Cell demanded a seven-day remand of Jasbir Singh.

On this occasion, the State Special Operations Cell demanded a seven-day remand of Jasbir Singh.
In this regard, the government prosecutor argued that Jasbir Singh’s laptop has to be recovered and more information has to be obtained. On the other hand, Jasbir Singh’s lawyer, calling the police story false, said that Jasbir Singh has been wrongly arrested.
He said that Jasbir Singh was first summoned by giving a notice and Jasbir Singh had also joined the police investigation. The police interrogated him for two days and then arrested him and accused him of being a Pakistani spy, whereas there is nothing like that.
The Hon'ble Court after hearing the arguments of the lawyers of both the parties sent Jasbir Singh on 2 days police remand. According to the information received, YouTuber Jasbir Singh, a resident of Mahila village of Ropar, was arrested by the State Special Operation Cell of Punjab Police on the charge of spying for Pakistan.
Police investigation revealed that he was also in contact with YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested from Haryana, and with Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, a dismissed officer from Pakistan High Court. Jasbir Singh came on the police radar after making a YouTube video with Jyoti Malhotra.
