SAS Nagar, March 20 - The Bharatiya Kisan Union has condemned the arrest of Jagjit Singh Dallewal, the leader of the ongoing protest at Shambhu border and Khanauri, and all the leaders present with him from the Mohali border yesterday and has warned the government that if the arrested farmer leaders are not released within 24 hours, then a struggle will be launched against it.
During the meeting held under the leadership of the union's district president Ravinder Singh Deh Kalan, the leaders said that the government has been pushing the farmers during the peaceful protest. Which the union and the farmers of the villages are strongly condemning. They said that during this, Mohali district leader Mehar Singh Theri was also arrested by the Ghandua police, on which the farmers of the area gathered together and talked to the SHO at Ghandua Chowki today. And have requested and warned the administration that if our leaders are not released within 24 hours, the people of the area will come together and struggle vigorously and the responsibility will be on the administration.
