
'100 Ratnas of My City' Scholarship Program launched in Una district
Una, March 20- Crack Academy in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Government has launched '100 Ratnas of My City' Scholarship Program in Una district. Under this scheme, 6,800 students from across the state will be given free coaching for various competitive examinations. Crack Academy co-founder Rishi Bhargava gave this information in a press conference held at Maya Hotel in Una. He said that on the occasion of the state-wide launch of this scheme, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had said that this initiative will benefit meritorious students as well as create employment opportunities in the state.

100 students from each assembly constituency will get free coaching
Rishi Bhargava said that under this scheme, Crack Academy will provide free coaching to 100 meritorious students from each assembly constituency of the state. About Rs 34 crore will be spent on this scheme. To make the selection process transparent, exams will be conducted in schools and colleges of every assembly constituency in which students of class 6 and above will be able to participate.
54,400 children will get coaching facility
Under this scheme, coaching will be provided to 54,400 children across the state. In this, coaching will be free for the top 100 students from every assembly constituency. The next 200 students will be given 75 percent and 500 students will be given 50 percent fee discount. Rishi Bhargava said that the state government will provide full assistance in making this scheme successful. The examination will be monitored by the Education Department, while the test paper will be prepared by Crack Academy.
Pilot project successful in Jawalamukhi, now expanding across the state
The pilot project of this scheme was first implemented in Jawalamukhi Assembly of Kangra district in which students from 50 schools participated. Currently, 220 selected students of Jawalamukhi are being given merit-based coaching under this scheme.
More than 90 coaching centers in the state, 5 thousand will get employment
Crack Academy will not only provide coaching facilities to the students but will also provide employment opportunities to the people in the state. Crack Academy will establish more than 90 coaching centers which will provide direct employment to 5 thousand people and indirect employment opportunities to others.

Shimla's historic library will be renovated
Crack Academy will spend Rs 1.5 crore on the renovation and maintenance of the historic library located on the Ridge of Shimla. This library will be equipped with modern technology so that students can get better study facilities. Apart from this, Crack Academy is also supporting 4,500 orphan children in the state so that they can get high quality education.
