Nawanshahr- Sahib Shri Kanshi Ram Samaj Bhalai Society dedicated to May Day celebrated Labor Day by distributing T-shirts to the workers in front of Shri Guru Ravidas Temple, in which Tarsem Ladhar Bank Manager Retired and Dharampal Bank Manager Retired were the chief guests.
On this occasion, President of Sahib Shri Kanshi Ram Samaj Bhalai Society Nikku Ram Janagal and Dr. Ambedkar Bhawan Charitable Relief Trust's Regd. President Satish Kumar Lal while addressing said that the facility of 8 hours duty that 8 workers have got by losing their lives and becoming martyrs in the city of Chicago, America, that facility has been given to you by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Ji as a legal right in the Constitution of India without any struggle.
Today there is a need to struggle to implement those constitutional rights. Instead of giving proper wages to the workers, the governments are implementing the contract system. On today's May Day, we request the workers to struggle and demand that such a law be made in the country that no contractor can exploit any worker and if any ruler is caught exploiting, he should be punished in such a way that he cannot commit such a crime again. Hundreds of workers including Raman Laddhar, Sandeep Kaler, Yograj Jogi were present on this occasion.
