Patiala Police bulldozed the house built by a female drug smuggler

Patiala, February 27- Patiala Police today took a major action against drug smugglers and demolished the two-storey house built by female drug smuggler Rinki wife of late Balbir Singh in Rodi Kutt Mohalla here this evening with the help of JCB machines. Giving a strong message against drug smuggling, SSP Dr. Nanak Singh himself was standing on the spot and monitoring this action of Patiala Police. The SSP said that under the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the leadership of DGP Gaurav Yadav, the miscreants involved in the illegal business of drugs will not be spared.

Dr. Nanak Singh said that about 10 cases have been registered against Rinki under various sections of the NDPS Act since 2016. This woman had built this house by illegally occupying the land of the ancient Vaman Avatar temple, which has been ordered to be demolished, so Patiala Police has demolished this house under police supervision this evening to maintain law and order situation.
The SSP said that many complaints of drug trafficking were being received in Mohalla Rodi Kutt and the owner of this house, Rinki, is also involved in drug trafficking, who had built this house illegally with the money earned from drug trafficking. Dr. Nanak Singh said that till now this woman Rinki has been arrested 10 times by the police, but she is still absconding and will be arrested very soon.
He said that following the zero tolerance policy of the Punjab government against drug trafficking, Patiala Police will take strict action against such elements. On this occasion, SP Vaibhav Chaudhary, Naib Tehsildar Mandeep Singh as Duty Magistrate, DSP City-1 Satnam Singh Sandhu, DSP Manoj Gorsi, DSP Mandeep Kaur, DSP Cyber ??Crime Aswant Singh Dhaliwal, Incharge Kotwali DSP (Probationer) Rashwinder Singh along with other police officers and a large number of police personnel were present.
