Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 12, 2025: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of Future Developers Firm.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that the owner of Future Developers SCF No. 14, Top Floor, Phase-5 Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Malkit Singh Brar (Proprietor) son of Balwinderjit Singh, resident of House No. 1894, Phase-5, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, was issued a license No. 371/IC dated 24.12.2019 for the work of travel agency and consultancy. The validity of this license has expired on 23.12.2024.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the licensee has committed a violation under the provisions of Section 6(1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012 by not submitting monthly reports as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, not getting the license renewed and not giving reply/clarification to the notice, and not complying with the clauses of the license.
Therefore, in view of the above facts, in exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, the license number 371/IC dated 24.12.2019 issued to Future Developers Firm has been revoked/cancelled with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible in every respect for it and will also be responsible for compensating for it.
