Hoshiarpur- District Sweep Nodal Officer Ankush Sharma today held a meeting with Sweep Nodal Officers of all the assembly constituencies of the district and asked them to participate enthusiastically in the 'Punjab Election Quiz-2025' dedicated to National Voters' Day. He said that students of schools and colleges should be made aware to participate in the competition.
He appealed to all the participants and said that it is mandatory to submit valid documents along with registration. Registration without valid documents will be cancelled. He said that to ensure maximum participation of people in democracy and to make them aware about the importance of voting, 'Punjab Election Quiz-2025' dedicated to 'National Voters' Day' is being organized by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Punjab.
Ankush Sharma said that both online and offline competitions are being organized under 'Punjab Election Quiz-2025'. He informed that online registration for these competitions can be done till 17 January 2025. He informed that the online quiz competition will be held on 19 January 2025 and the state level offline competition will be held on 24 January 2025.
He informed that in the first phase, the winners will be identified at the district level under the online competition and the final offline competition will be held on 24 January 2025 in Ludhiana between the winners of 23 districts. He informed that online registration for Punjab Election Quiz-2025 can be done at https://punjab.indiastatquiz.com/.
He informed that voter ID card, Aadhar card and identity card issued by school/college can be submitted to participate in the competition. He also informed that the winners will be given many attractive prizes including mobile, laptop by CEO Punjab. Election Commissioner Deepak Kumar, Harpreet Kaur, Lakhbir Singh, Megha Mehta were also present on this occasion.
