Hoshiarpur- With the aim of developing government schools of the Vidhan Sabha constituency Chabbewal as a role model, the MLA of the constituency Dr. Ishank Kumar laid the foundation stone of maintenance and development works of various schools in the area. These works will be completed at a total cost of Rs 75.13 lakh. On this occasion, Dr. Ishank Kumar said, “Education is the foundation of the progress of society and my main objective is to provide better basic facilities to government schools.
 A grant of Rs 46.84 lakh has been released for the repair and reconstruction of Government Senior Secondary School Achharwal. This work is a big step towards modernizing and securing the infrastructure of the school. An amount of Rs. 5.35 lakh has been approved for the renovation of Government High School, Sarhala Kalan and a grant of Rs. 5.35 lakh has also been approved for the construction of the boundary wall of the Primary School Bham. 
A provision of Rs. 10 lakh has been made for the renovation work of Senior Secondary School Ajnoha, while a new boundary wall will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 6 lakh in Primary School Mona Khurd and a new toilet for the girl students will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.59 lakh. A total of Rs. 7.59 lakh will be spent on Mona Khurd School. Dr. Ishank Kumar said that the government schools of Chabbewal area will be equipped with such facilities so that they can come at the same level as private schools. His aim is that the students of government schools can get good education in a good environment. 
This development work is an important initiative to raise the educational level of the area and provide a better future to the students. Dr. Ishank concluded by saying, "This is the beginning, and in the coming time, my efforts will continue to bring positive change in the lives of every school and every student in the area." On this occasion, District Education Officer Secondary Mrs. Lalita Arora thanked Dr. Ishank Kumar and said that the release of grants to raise the standard of schools in this way by him as soon as he became the MLA has created a wave of happiness among the teachers and students of all the schools. 
The teachers and students are ready to teach and teach with double enthusiasm in their schools and give good results.
