Una, October 26. As per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Una, a one-day workshop was organized for BLOs/supervisors related to the five assembly constituencies of the district on Saturday under the special revision program of photo voter lists - 2025. The training workshop was chaired by Tehsildar Election Suman Kapoor. All the BLOs/supervisors present in the workshop were informed about the various activities to be done during the revision program.
Suman Kapoor said that the Election Department's objective is to ensure registration of all such citizens whose age is going to be 18 years or more on January 1, 2025, in the photo voter lists, and prompt activation of BLO supervisors is very important. He said that the concerned BLO supervisors should ensure to set up BLO help desks in all government and private educational institutions of the district so that during the revision period, all eligible and missed and new voters studying in these institutions who have completed 18 years can be registered in the voter list. 
He directed all booth level officers to prepare a list of all eligible citizens of their polling station area who have completed 18 years and are going to complete 18 years on the eligibility date January 1, 2025 and ensure their registration in the voter list - 2025 and collect the list of applications received for registration from the booth level officers and send it to the District Election Department, Una on a daily basis.
Apart from all the BLO supervisors present in the training workshop, the data entry operators of the sub-divisional election office were also given detailed information regarding the process and compliance of the guidelines of the Election Commission of India for registration in the voter list.
