Una, September 30 - Free rabies vaccination of pet and stray dogs will be done in all the veterinary hospitals of Una district. Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Dr. Vinay Sharma said that this vaccination will be done till October 8. He said that the theme of World Rabies Day this year is Breaking Rabies Boundaries. Dr. Vinay said that the Animal Husbandry Department is also making the society aware about rabies in collaboration with non-governmental organizations. He appealed to all the officers and employees of the Animal Husbandry Department to make more and more people aware about the dangerous disease like rabies so that the disease caused by rabies can be eradicated. Apart from this, he has appealed to the people of the district to get the anti-rabies vaccination done for the pet dogs in their homes. Because it is completely human-protected.
