Mahilpur - The annual fair of Baba Tehku Shah's court is being celebrated with great fanfare on May 23 in village Mehmedwal Kalan, four kilometers away from here. Giving this information, the president of the fair organizing committee, Namdar Gurbachan Das, said that people from all over the country will participate in this fair.
He further informed that the chief guest of this fair will be former MLA Dr. Raj Kumar. In the meeting held with the purpose of conducting the arrangements of the fair in a smooth manner, apart from the elders of the village, Sarpanch Amarjit Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Bhupinder Singh Bhinda, Honey Mall, Sachwinder Kumar, Kuldeep Singh and Amit Mann said that in this fair, NRI heroes has special support. After hoisting the flag on the tomb of Baba Tehku Shah, open langar and chabeel will also be served to the congregation. Naklan will be done after praying for the welfare of life and property.
