Haryana/Hisar:- Women cyclists from eight states of North India will showcase their talent in the Asmita Women's Cycling League. This competition will be held on January 10th and 11th in Shahabad (Kurukshetra).
Haryana State Cycling Association General Secretary Neeraj Tanwar informed that this competition is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the Sports Authority of India (SAI), and the Cycling Federation of India.
He said that women cyclists from Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Chandigarh have already arrived in Shahabad to participate in the competition. All preparations for the successful organization of the competition have been completed, and it will be held in a new and attractive format.
The competition will feature exciting races between women cyclists in the sub-junior and junior categories. Cyclists who perform exceptionally well will be honored with medals and cash prizes.
Neeraj Tanwar said that a total cash prize of ?1,38,000 will be awarded to the winners. This league is an important initiative to encourage women's cycling and promote young talent.
