Hansi:- Under the guidance of Additional Deputy Commissioner and Municipal Commissioner Lakshit Sareen, a special cleanliness drive is being conducted continuously and effectively by the Municipal Council Hansi with the aim of making the city clean, beautiful and healthy. In this series, on Tuesday, the teams of the Municipal Council conducted a comprehensive cleanliness drive in Ward No. 4, 13, 15, 22 and 23 and gave the message of cleanliness.
During the drive, the sanitation workers did intensive cleaning of the streets, main roads, public places and drains of the wards. Garbage spread on the roads was collected, silt and blockages were removed from the drains to improve the drainage system and a special campaign was conducted to ensure a clean environment. Along with this, the dirt spread around public places was also removed and the area was made neat and clean.
ADC and Municipal Commissioner Lakshit Sareen said that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of the Municipal Council, but it is the collective responsibility of every citizen. If all citizens cooperate in keeping their homes and surrounding areas clean and throw garbage only at designated places, then Hansi can be made a clean and ideal city. He directed the officials that the special cleanliness drive should be continued and cleanliness arrangements should be ensured regularly in every ward of the city.
Municipal Council officials appealed to the citizens not to throw garbage in open places, keep wet and dry waste separately and actively participate in the cleanliness drive. The goal of a clean, healthy and beautiful Hansi can be achieved only with public participation.
