Chandigarh, October 23 - Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that the state government is continuously making efforts to provide better health services to the public. In this regard, it is being ensured that there is no shortage of medical equipment and machines in any government hospital or health institution in the state.
The Health Minister said that new equipment and modern machines are being purchased as per the requirement and they are being sent to the institutions from time to time. Recently, new ultrasound machines have been sent to government hospitals in 6 districts of the state - Panchkula, Narnaul, Panipat, Rewari, Sonipat and Gurugram. After the installation work of these machines is completed, the examination of patients will start soon.
He said that the rates for the purchase of several essential medicines, medical equipment and machines were recently fixed through Haryana Medical Services Corporation Limited. Now the supply of equipment has started in various medical institutions of the state under them.
Aarti Singh Rao said that the government's goal is to provide quality, affordable and accessible health services to every citizen of the state. For this, the necessary resources are being strengthened at all levels of the health department. He said that with the arrival of modern machines, the testing process will be faster and faster, due to which the patients will be able to get treatment on time.
The Health Minister also said that the state government is continuously working to strengthen the health infrastructure and in the coming time new machines will also be sent to hospitals in other districts so that the citizens of rural and urban areas can get equal level of medical facilities.
