Haroli/Una, June 27 (Rajveer Chopra): A swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected Ward Panches was held on Saturday at the Bathu Gram Panchayat office. The Gram Panchayat Pradhan, **Smt. Meena Devi**, administered the oath of office and secrecy to all the Ward Panches.
During the event, all the public representatives pledged to bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India, to discharge their duties honestly, impartially, and conscientiously, and to administer justice to all in accordance with the Constitution and the law, without fear, favor, affection, or ill-will.
Those who took the oath included **Sukhdev Kumar, Chanchala, Atul Rana, Joginder Singh, Dimpal Rathore, Shubh Lata, Neeta Kumari, Mamta Devi, Sushma Devi, Suresh Kumar, Gyan Chand,** and **Dharmpal Bains**.
Panchayat Secretary **Shashi Kumar**, Technical Assistant **Jeevan Kumar**, and the Gram Rozgar Sevak were also present on the occasion. The program concluded with the representatives resolving to prioritize the development of the Panchayat and works serving the public interest.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the newly elected Panchayat members conveyed a message of environmental conservation by planting a fruit-bearing sapling within the Panchayat premises. They also pledged to plant more trees and care for them, ensuring a clean and green environment for future generations.
