Hoshiarpur- On the occasion of Vishwakarma Day, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa visited various places and participated in the organized events. He visited the events at Tharoli, Dallewal, Boothgarh and Labor Shed Ghanta Ghar and offered flowers of homage to Lord Vishwakarma and extended his best wishes to the residents of the district.
MLA Jimpa said in his address that Lord Vishwakarma is known as the first architect of the universe and a symbol of technical knowledge. He said that Vishwakarma Day is not only a festival of devotion but also shows the importance of labor, creativity and skill. He said that every laborer is a pillar of our society and the state government is continuously working to uplift and respect the working class.
On this occasion, he said that under the leadership of the Punjab government, development works are progressing rapidly and public service is his only aim. The MLA said that he is committed to taking forward development works in every field with the support of the public.
The MLA extended his warm wishes to all the people on Vishwakarma Diwas and said that only that society becomes progressive which respects labor.
Mayor Surinder Kumar, Kulwinder Singh Hundal, Varinder Vaid, Pawan Kumar (Chhauni Kalan), Harvinder Singh Dimpy and Ravi Kumar along with many dignitaries were present during the function.
