Sangrur, 9 September:- Deputy Director, My Bharat Sangrur Rahul Saini invited the youth of the district to participate enthusiastically in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD)-2027, saying that this initiative provides an opportunity for young people to showcase their talent, leadership abilities, creativity and new ideas at the national level. He appealed to eligible youth to register on the My Bharat portal and participate in the VBYLD Quiz.
He said that VBYLD-2027, being organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is a platform that connects the ideas and capabilities of youth with the development of the country. Through this, young people will get an opportunity to put forward their ideas and suggestions for building ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.
The Deputy Director said that as of August 17, 2026, youth in the age group of 15 to 29 years are eligible to participate. VBYLD-2027 includes six major tracks—Viksit Bharat Challenge, Cultural Track, Design for Bharat, Hack for Social Cause, Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge and Youth Parliament. Through these, youth will get an opportunity to showcase their talent and intellectual capabilities in various fields.
He said that last year, more than 50 lakh youth from across the country participated in VBYLD-2026, which reflects the enthusiasm of young people towards this national programme.
He also appealed to schools, colleges, universities, NSS/NCC units, youth clubs, teachers and parents to ensure that information regarding VBYLD 2027 reaches eligible youth and to motivate them to register and take advantage of this opportunity.
The Deputy Director said that there is no shortage of talent and new ideas among the youth of Sangrur, and VBYLD-2027 is a meaningful platform for them to connect their ideas with the future of the country. He also appealed to the media to cooperate in creating maximum awareness regarding the VBYLD Quiz.
He said that the Grand National Programme of VBYLD-2027 will be organised in New Delhi from January 10 to 12, 2027, in which selected youth will get an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas in a dialogue at the national level.
