Hansi: – Hansi Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinod Kumar held a meeting at his office with the in-charges and police personnel deployed at various police checkpoints across the district. The objective of the meeting was to make security arrangements at the checkpoints more effective, enhance police vigilance, and ensure accountability regarding duty.
During the meeting, the SP instructed all personnel to report for duty on time and discharge their responsibilities with full accountability and alertness. He stated that checkpoints play a crucial role in maintaining law and order, apprehending criminals, and monitoring suspicious individuals and vehicles; therefore, any form of negligence in duty would not be accepted.
The SP directed that suspicious individuals and vehicles passing through every checkpoint be thoroughly checked. He emphasized the need for special vigilance during the night and instructed that a close watch be kept on all activities. He further directed that effective policing be ensured while maintaining courteous and respectful behavior towards the general public.
All checkpoint in-charges were instructed to maintain mutual coordination, keep wireless communication systems active, and immediately report any suspicious activity to senior officers. He reiterated that the police force is fully committed to maintaining law and order and preventing crime in the district, urging all personnel to discharge their responsibilities with utmost honesty, discipline, and alertness.
