Hoshiarpur: Doctor Ishank Kumar, Vidhayak Chabbewal, inspected the ongoing construction work of the 1.15 kilometer long Chabbewal–Jiyaan Mandi road being built at a cost of 1 crore rupees. The objective of this project is to strengthen road infrastructure and ensure better connectivity with farmers and residents of the area.
During the construction, Doctor Ishank reviewed the quality and progress of the work and instructed the concerned officials to ensure timely completion without compromising standards. He emphasized that durable and high-quality construction must be ensured for long-term public benefit.
Highlighting the importance of the road, the Vidhayak said that this road is connected to the main mandi of Chabbewal constituency, where farmers from distant villages bring their crops for sale. The construction of the road will help farmers transport agricultural produce smoothly to the mandi, thereby directly benefiting the farming community. He further stated that the reconstruction of this road will provide significant relief not only to daily commuters but also to traders.
Doctor Ishank reiterated his commitment towards the overall development of the constituency and assured that more such projects will be initiated in the future. Farmers appreciated the Vidhayak for personally visiting the site and inspecting the work and expressed hope that the project will be completed soon, improving connectivity and boosting the economic activities of farmers.
