Dera Bassi, July 9:- Under the 'Lok Milni' program organized in Derabassi constituency, MLA Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa visited the villages of Trivedi Camp, Guru Nanak Colony, Bhagwanpur and Rampur Sainiya and interacted directly with the people. During this, he listened to the problems and demands of the people and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials for their immediate resolution on the spot.
The MLA inaugurated the streets built at a cost of about Rs. 25 lakhs at village Trivedi Camp and dedicated them to the people. On this occasion, he also interacted with the mothers and sisters and shared information about the public welfare schemes of the Punjab Government.
After this, he inaugurated the pipeline laid at a cost of about Rs 21 lakh and the constructed streets at Guru Nanak Colony and dedicated them to the residents of the area.
At village Bhagwanpur, he inaugurated the works done in the crematorium and the constructed streets at a cost of about Rs 10 lakh, while at village Rampur Sainiya, he dedicated the works done in the crematorium and the paver blocks, paint and other works in the community center at a cost of about Rs 14 lakh to the people.
MLA Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to the all-round development of the state and to provide better basic facilities to the people. He said that the purpose of the Lok Milni program is to ensure timely resolution of the problems of the people in their own areas. He assured that development works will continue continuously in every village and every ward of Derabassi constituency.
During these programs, the Sarpanch of the respective villages, Block Samiti Chairman, Panchayat members, dignitaries and officers of various departments were also present.
