Hansi:- Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal, the ongoing census process in the district—specifically the tasks of house listing and the enumeration of households—continues uninterrupted. In this context, Tehsildar Dr. Anil Kumar Bidhan visited various villages—including Bhatla, Chanot, Gurana, and Data—on Thursday to inspect the house listing operations and issued necessary directives to the concerned officials and staff.
During the inspection, Tehsildar Dr. Anil Kumar Bidhan went door-to-door to assess the actual status of the census work. He thoroughly scrutinized the information being recorded by the appointed enumerators and reviewed both the quality and progress of the work. He instructed the officials that no form of negligence or laxity in the census operations would be tolerated, and that the work must be completed within the stipulated timeframe with utmost seriousness and transparency.
Tehsildar Dr. Bidhan stated that the census is one of the country's most critical administrative processes, serving as the foundation upon which future development plans, government policies, and various public welfare schemes are formulated. Therefore, it is imperative that accurate and complete information regarding every household be recorded in the prescribed format to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data.
Addressing the enumerators, he directed them to conduct their door-to-door visits with complete responsibility and integrity, while maintaining a cordial demeanor toward the general public. He further instructed that any issues or difficulties encountered should be immediately reported to higher officials to ensure their timely resolution.
Tehsildar Dr. Anil Kumar Bidhan also appealed to the villagers to cooperate with the administration by providing accurate and precise information to the census staff. He emphasized that the information provided during the census is kept strictly confidential and is utilized solely for the purpose of formulating government schemes and outlining development projects.
He expressed confidence that the house listing operations would be successfully completed within the timeframe prescribed by the government, demonstrating full transparency, responsibility, and efficiency. On this occasion, officials and employees of the concerned departments, as well as enumerators associated with the census work, were also present.
