Chandigarh, April 1:- Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam is committed to providing reliable, good voltage and uninterrupted power supply to the consumers. To achieve the goal of complete consumer satisfaction, the power corporation has started many important programs so that the problems of the consumers can be resolved immediately.
While giving the above information, the spokesperson of the power corporation said that as per Regulation 2.8.2, the Zonal Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum will hear complaints related to financial disputes of an amount exceeding Rs. 1 lakh and up to Rs. 3 lakh in harem cases. The complaints of consumers of districts Kurukshetra, Ambala, Panchkula, Kaithal and Yamunanagar coming under Panchkula Zone will be resolved by the Zonal Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum in Panchkula on 06, 13, 20 and 27 April.
He said that the cases of consumers of districts coming under Panchkula Zone regarding incorrect bills, electricity tariff related matters, meter security related matters, damaged meters related matters, voltage related matters will be resolved. During this, cases of electricity theft, misuse of electricity and fatal and non-fatal accidents etc. will not be considered.
The spokesperson said that before filing a complaint related to financial disputes in the forum for settlement of any dispute between the consumer and the corporation, the consumer will have to deposit the amount claimed for each month calculated on the basis of the average electricity fee paid by the consumer during the last six months or an amount equal to the electricity fee paid by him, whichever is less. During this, the consumer will have to certify that this matter is not pending before the court, authority or forum because the matters pending in this court or forum will not be considered during the meeting. Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam appeals to the consumers to get their electricity related problems resolved by attending the proceedings to be held on 06, 13, 20 and 27 April at UHBVN Head Office, Bijli Sadan, Industrial Plot-3 and 4, Sector-14, Panchkula from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Corporation is committed to providing continuous and uninterrupted power supply to all consumers in the state.
UHBVN will resolve the complaints of consumers of Panchkula zone for four days in the month of April
