Patiala:- At Primo Chemical Limited Factory Nangal, under the leadership of DGM Shri Rakesh Kaur, employees of 5 factories were given training on safety, health, environment, first aid, CPR, fire safety, proper use of gases and electricity. On this occasion, Deputy Director of Factory Ropar Shri Narinder Singh expressed his gratitude and said that the government and Punjab Industry Safety Department are making war-like efforts for the safety, health, support and facilities of the employees of the factories and their family members.
He said that these trainings, exercises and mock drills are conducted from time to time to provide information about the rules, laws, principles and duties to the employees for safety, protection and help. Mr. Pankaj Seklani, Safety Officer of National Fertilizer Limited, encouraged patience, peace, humility, tolerance, discipline, good behavior, and community to avoid accidents and stress while working.
Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Disaster Management Trainer Patiala, conducted practical training on first aid, CPR, recovery or ventilator position, heart attack, cardiac arrest, epileptic seizures, fainting, shock, sugar blood, fire, gases, smoke, drowning, and giving proper first aid to victims of electric current immediately on the spot. He gave information about the helpline numbers of ambulance, fire brigade, police and cyber security and how to avoid cyber crime digital arrest.
Officer Sanjeev Kumar from Punjab Industry Safety Council Chandigarh, Primo's Safety Officer, Welfare Officer and Mr. Narinder Singh gave certificates to the participants and made them take an oath that they will always follow the rules and laws of safety, health, and environmental protection. They will avoid drug crimes, fast food, junk food, cold drinks, haste, and carelessness.
Kaka Ram Verma said that now it is necessary to prepare the factory employees for the challenges of the future by conducting training, practice and mock drills on the use of disaster management, first aid, fire safety cylinders, instead of SHE, SHED i.e. safety, health, and environment.
