Karnal, March 14 – Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev arrived in Karnal on Saturday, where he participated in a state-level women's mega-conference organized under the aegis of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar, and courtesy of the Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Karnal. During the event, while addressing the women and spiritual seekers present, he delivered a message advocating the adoption of Yoga, Ayurveda, and the 'Swadeshi' (indigenous) way of life.
Speaking at the program, Swami Ramdev stated that embracing Yoga, Ayurveda, and a Swadeshi lifestyle is absolutely essential to make India strong and self-reliant. He remarked that these practices not only protect people from various ailments but can also help eradicate numerous social evils currently plaguing society. He further appealed to women to play an active role in the creation of a healthy and culturally rooted society.

**Indian Education and Culture Will Bring Liberation from Servitude**
Swami Ramdev asserted that liberating the nation from educational, medical, economic, and cultural servitude is the need of the hour. He noted that even 75 years after independence, there remains a palpable need for significant reforms within the education system. To connect children with accurate historical narratives and Indian culture, thousands of schools across the country have already affiliated themselves with the Bharatiya Shiksha Board (Indian Education Board), with the support of Patanjali Yogpeeth. The ambitious goal for the near future is to expand this network to encompass a total of one lakh (100,000) schools.

**Expresses Concern Over Rising Global Tensions**
While interacting with the media, Swami Ramdev also expressed his concern regarding the prevailing international situation. He observed that the escalating tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran appear to be creating conditions akin to a Third World War. Describing the situation as deeply alarming, he urged the world's major powers to sit together and collectively devise a solution to the crisis. He further remarked that major organizations typically vocal on human rights issues appear to be maintaining a silence on this matter, and an atmosphere of fear seems to be pervading the realm of international politics.

**Expresses Confidence in India-Iran Relations**
Swami Ramdev also shared his views on the relationship between India and Iran. He stated that the ties between the two nations have historically and culturally been extremely strong, and expressed confidence that no rift would emerge between them in the future. According to him, there has always been a positive sentiment towards India in Iran, and mutual cooperation and relations between the two countries will remain strong in the future as well.
