Chandigarh, November 26 - Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that the work of carpentry of the road is being done from village Ramgarh Majra to Maheshnagar Pump House on Tangri Banham Road in Ambala. He said that a new road is being constructed to connect this road from Ghasitpur to GT Road.
Energy Minister Anil Vij was speaking after reviewing the carpentry work being done by PWD on Tangri Banham Road in Ambala on Wednesday.
He said that Tangri Banham Road will be connected from Ghasitpur to GT Road and a new road is being constructed for this. He said that the construction of the Tangri Banham Road in the east has increased the height of the Banham, due to which despite the record water in the river during the rains, water did not flow towards the city and the entire city was saved.
Energy Minister Anil Vij said that the work of painting the road from Ramgarh Majra to GT Road is going on. After this work is completed, this road will be widened by six feet. So that there is no problem in the construction of the road, the police have been asked to divert traffic until the road is constructed.
