There is no shortage of domestic gas in the state citizens should not worry Rajesh Nagar

Chandigarh, March 18:- Haryana Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Shri Rajesh Nagar said that the supply of petrol, diesel and domestic LPG gas in the state is completely normal.
While giving information about this, this Nagar said that a total of 226162 domestic gas cylinders of 14.2 kg have been supplied by oil marketing companies across the state in the last five days. At present, the total stock of LPG gas cylinders at bottling plants across the state is 1139787.
He said that a total of 1422 commercial cylinders of 19 kg have been supplied across the state in the last thirty days. At present, the total stock of commercial LPG gas cylinders at bottling plants across the state is 190088.
Minister of State Shri Nagar said that in an important letter issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, New Delhi on March 9, 2026, necessary guidelines have been given regarding the supply of domestic LPG gas to priority sectors, its proper and equitable distribution and ensuring its availability. In compliance with these guidelines, the Haryana Government has taken all necessary steps with immediate effect.
At present, the supply of petrol, diesel and domestic LPG gas in the state of Haryana is running completely smoothly. The major oil companies- Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited have stock available.
On priority basis, supply of commercial cylinders is being ensured to educational institutions, hospitals and other establishments connected with essential services. Special teams have been formed to normalize the remaining distribution and soon the situation will be completely under control. The Minister of State said that the primary objective of our government is to provide cooking gas in available quantity to every household and ensure that the engines of vehicles continue to run smoothly. With the support of the Central Government, we have developed a strong distribution network at the state level which includes more than 5,000 distributors. Through these, lakhs of cylinders are being distributed every day.
