Kapurthala:- Dedicated to literature and art, the premier literary society of Kapurthala district, Sirjana Kendra (Regd.) Kapurthala, launched the new novel "Sunne Reh Gaye Aalne" by expatriate writer Binder Kolian Wal at the center's office, Virsa Vihar, Kapurthala, in the presence of literary figures and literature lovers. The chief guest was eminent thinker and writer Dr. Paramjit Singh Mansa and the event was jointly presided over by Kanwar Iqbal Singh, President of the center and established as an international poet, Madam Parkash Kaur Sandhu, Dr. Asa Singh Ghuman, Roshan Khaida and Chan Momi. The special guest was the manager of the eminent businessman Eat and Food Hotel, Sardar Ravinder Singh's MD, Pradeep Kumar.
In the initial phase of the program, the president of the center, Kanwar Iqbal Singh, welcomed the poets and guests present. Ashu Kumra, who played the role of stage secretary, first conducted a poet court for the poets present. In which young poets Mukhtar Sahota, Aman Gandhi alias Baba Nazmi, Biba Amin Gill, Kulwant Singh Dhanju were invited.
Later, competent poet Dish Daburji, eminent ghazalgo Janakpreet Begowal, Dr. Surinderpal Singh, Mukhtar Singh Chandi, Gurdeep Gill, Prin Kewal Singh Rattra, Tejbir Singh and Harjinder Singh Rana presented new poems. The organizers of the event, Malkit Meet and Ashu Kumra also warmed up the atmosphere with beautiful compositions. Ustad ghazalgo Mr. Surjit Sajan won praise with his selected poems.
In the second round of the event, Mukhtar Singh Chandi, Mohan Singh Moti and Principal Lakhbir Singh discussed the background of the novel and the profound effects of migration. Finally, the author Binder Kolian Wal told about the choice of the subject of the novel that its story is based on a true life story.
It is worth mentioning that Binder Kolian Wal has already written about a dozen books on different subjects, including "Anpachate Rahan De Pandhi", "Lal Pani Chhapadan De", "Adhura Safar", "Us Raat Ki Hoya", "Talabandi Di Dastan" etc. books are notable. Apart from this, he has added poetry and story books to the collection of Punjabi literature.
Principal Kewal Singh Rattra and Assistant Media Incharge Rajni Walia informed that at the end of the event, the novel "Sunne Rah Gaye Aalne" was released by the entire presidium. Binder Kolianwala and his wife Balwinder Kaur were honored by the center with a plaque and a dushale. Dr. Harbhajan Singh, Prin Satnam Kaur, Manjinder Kamal, Shivdarshan Kamboj, etc., other writers and guests attended the event.
