Chandigarh, December 19:- Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Vipul Goyal said that the present government has given compensation of Rs 4771.89 crore to farmers so far, while the Congress government from 2005 to 2014 gave only Rs 1158 crore as compensation.
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Vipul Goyal was responding to a question asked on the second day of the winter session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Minister said that BJP is a government that is involved in the happiness and sorrow of every person, farmer. He said that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has also seen the crop damage assessment process. If any mistake or negligence is found, he has been chargesheeted.
